Ragnarok on Android: How to Skip Downloading Game Data if You Have Ragnarok on PC

If you didn't know, yes, some Ragnarok servers like AevaRO and Valkyrie allow people to play the game on their smart phones. The graphics is almost the same with the PC version except mostly for the graphical user interface.

After downloading and installing the game on your smart phone, it still needs to download the game data. The game data runs to almost 2 GB. If you have Ragnarok Online on your PC, you can actually use the same data for the mobile version instead of downloading the same file again. Follow these simple steps.

1. Connect your Android phone to your PC. You can connect via USB Port or WiFi.

2. Navigate to your Ragnarok Online folder in your PC.

3. Take note of the specified file path of the game data on your phone.

You may also change it.

3. Look for and copy data.grf and BGM folder in your PC then paste them to the specified folder on your phone.

Copy both data.grf and BTM folder

Paste in on the specified client directory from step #2

4. Disconnect your phone from your PC then try running the game.

Tap 'Start Game'.

Wait for the app to download update files.

Wait for it to cache data.grf.

Type in your username and password then tap 'Connect'. Register if you haven't yet.

That's it! But, if you don't have the game on your PC, try looking for a torrent file provided by your server and choose to download only data.grf and BGM folder. You may also try to look for that server's ftp server and download them from there.
